Judging the Wind Investment Awards

The judging process

The awards are judged by a panel of industry leaders and experts.

The judging is a rigorous two stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

Stage 1 – Pre-scoring

Judges will access online a selection of entries and supporting material and will read and score each entry as per the judging criteria. All pre-scores will be returned and then collated by our events team. The highest average scoring entries in each category will create the shortlist.

Stage 2 – Judging Session

There will be an online judging session hosted via video conference to select the winners. The panel will discuss the top scoring entries (the shortlists) and will identify a winner for each category.

Judging criteria

Judges pre-score each entry on the basis of the provided details as well as any websites or supporting materials included. Scores are assigned based on a number of criteria, including but not limited to:

  • Organisation / team / project objectives
  • Recent work examples / case studies
  • Recent achievements
  • Details of any challenges faced and how these were overcome
  • Demonstration of exceptional commitment to delivering the very best
  • Demonstration of best practices
  • Demonstration of an innovative and creative approach to delivered work

Specific criteria for each category can be found on the Categories page.
